Note

• The driver's side door lock switch cannot be removed as a single unit because it is built into the power window main switch. If the driver's side door lock switch is replaced, replace the power window main switch. (See POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

Door Lock Switch Inspection

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2. Remove the power window main switch. (See POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3. Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

• If the continuity is not as indicated in the table, replace the power window main switch. (See POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

LED Illumination Inspection (L.H.D.) (VIN Serial No. 100001-)

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2. Remove the power window main switch. (See POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION)

3. Apply battery voltage to door lock switch terminal 1B and connect terminal 1K to ground.

4. Verify that the LED turns on.

• If the LED does not turn on, replace the power window main switch.
