THEFT-DETERRENT SIREN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Pull out the wiring harness clip.

3.  Remove the nut.

4.  Remove the relay box.

5.  Disconnect the connector.

6.  Remove the bolt.

7.  Remove the theft-deterrent siren.

8.  Disconnect the connector from the theft-deterrent siren.

9.  Move the tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure to press the connector tab, and pull it in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the connector from the bracket.

10.  Remove the short-cord from the theft-deterrent siren.

11.  Remove the nut.

12.  Remove the theft-deterrent siren from the bracket.

13.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
