1.  Start the engine and inspect each exhaust system component for exhaust gas leakage.

•  If there is leakage, repair or replace the appropriate component. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].)

Criteria for Determining Crack in Exhaust Manifold

•  If there is a crack in the location shown in the figure, there is no problem with the exhaust manifold and it does not need to be replaced.
