BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T]

Note

•  The boost pressure sensor and boost air temperature sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the boost air temperature sensor, replace the boost pressure sensor/boost air temperature sensor.

Resistance Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the boost pressure sensor/boost air temperature sensor. (See BOOST PRESSURE SENSOR/BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].)

3.  Measure the resistance between boost pressure sensor/boost air temperature sensor terminals A and B.

•  If not as specified, replace the boost pressure sensor/boost air temperature sensor. (See BOOST PRESSURE SENSOR/BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].)
