BOOST PRESSURE SENSOR/BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T]

Note

•  The boost pressure sensor and boost air temperature sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the boost pressure sensor or boost air temperature sensor, replace the boost pressure sensor/boost air temperature sensor.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL.) (See FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the fastener.

4.  Remove the charge air cooler duct (RH).

5.  Disconnect the boost pressure sensor/boost air temperature sensor connector.

6.  Remove the charge air cooler. (See CHARGE AIR COOLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].)

7.  Remove the screw.

8.  Remove the boost pressure sensor/boost air temperature sensor.

9.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
