DTC	U3000:42	Instrument cluster
DETECTION CONDITION		• Instrument cluster internal malfunction is detected.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION		• Refer to “Fail-safe function table”. (See DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (DIRECT TPMS (WITHOUT TPMS SET SWITCH))].)
POSSIBLE CAUSE		• Instrument cluster malfunction
SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM		Not applicable

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DTC • Using the M-MDS, clear the DTC from the instrument cluster. (See CLEARING DTC [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (DIRECT TPMS (WITHOUT TPMS SET SWITCH))].) • Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (DIRECT TPMS (WITHOUT TPMS SET SWITCH))].) • Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Replace the instrument cluster, then go to the next step. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT • Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (DIRECT TPMS (WITHOUT TPMS SET SWITCH))].)
2	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT • Are any DTCs present?	No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
