4WD SOLENOID INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2. Disconnect the 4WD solenoid connector. (See COUPLING COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3. Measure resistance between 4WD solenoid connector terminals A and B.

• If the resistance is not within the specification, replace the coupling component. (See COUPLING COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4WD solenoid resistance

2.2—2.7 ohms
