Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY VEHICLE COLLISION • Confirm with the customer that the vehicle was hit. • Has the vehicle been hit?	Yes	Replace the SAS control module. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED • Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [SAS CONTROL MODULE].) • Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE].) • Are the same DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. • If the malfunction recurs, replace the SAS control module, then go to the next step. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED • Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE].)
3		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
