THIRD-ROW BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Without Rear Seat Belt Reminder System

1.  Remove the third-row seat cushion. (See THIRD-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Remove the bolts.

3.  Remove the third-row buckle (LH).

4.  Remove the third-row buckle (RH).

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

With Rear Seat Belt Reminder System

1.  Switch the ignition to off.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Third-row seat cushion (See THIRD-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Trunk board No.1 (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the third-row buckle switch connector.

5.  Detach the clip.

6.  Remove the bolts.

7.  Fold the third-row seat seatback forward.

8.  Detach the hooks and tabs, and remove the cover (rear side).

9.  Remove the bands.

10.  Return the third-row seat seatback to its original position.

11.  Pull the cover (front side) in the direction of arrow (1) and remove it while detaching the clip and pins.

12.  Remove the cover (front side).

13.  Remove the bands.

14.  Remove the third-row buckle (LH) and (RH) in the direction of the arrows shown in the figure.

15.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Cover (rear side) installation note.)

Cover (rear side) installation note

•  Install the cover (rear side) with the third-row buckle switch harness installed to the cover (rear side).
