Description	Insufficient remote transmitter programming number
Detection condition	• Start stop unit detects that the number of programmed remote transmitters is less than 2.
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	• Insufficient number of remote transmitters programmed • Start stop unit malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY NUMBER OF PROGRAMMED REMOTE TRANSMITTER • Display PID NUM_TRNSMIT using the M-MDS. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION [START STOP UNIT].) • Is the number of programmed remote transmitters less than 2?	Yes	Perform the additional remote transmitter programming, then go to the next step. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING.)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED • Clear the DTC for the start stop unit using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [START STOP UNIT].) • Retrieve the start stop unit DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [START STOP UNIT].) • Is the security indicator light: 21, DTC B13D4:00/P1260:00 displayed?	Yes	Replace the start stop unit, then go to the next step. (See START STOP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED • Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [START STOP UNIT].)
3		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
