Description	Active driving display internal malfunction
Detection condition	• With the ignition switched ON (engine off or on), a malfunction in the active driving display is detected.
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	• Active driving display malfunction
System wiring diagram	Not applicable

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION IS ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY ON REPEATABILITY • Always reconnect all disconnected connectors. • Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.) • Clear the DTC for the active driving display using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY].) • Retrieve the active driving display DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY].) • Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Replace the active driving display, then go to the next step. (See ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED • Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY].)
2		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
