Description	Configuration error (no configuration)
Detection condition	• Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module detected any of the following conditions with the ignition switched to ON (engine off or on). ? Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module cannot receive the same configuration data from the instrument cluster twice in a row ? Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module cannot receive the same configuration data from the PCM twice in a row ? Configuration data cannot be written to Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module memory.
Fail-safe	• In factory mode: The mode cannot be switched from factory mode to market mode because test mode cannot be activated. Test mode is not activated
Possible cause	• Instrument cluster configuration is not completed. • PCM configuration is not completed. • Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY OTHER MAZDA ERA-GLONASS CONTROL MODULE DTCs • Clear the DTC for the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [MAZDA ERA-GLONASS CONTROL MODULE]) • Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 25 s or more. • Perform the DTC inspection for the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [MAZDA ERA-GLONASS CONTROL MODULE]) • Is DTC U3000:00 displayed?	Yes	Replace the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module, then go to the Step 4. (See MAZDA ERA-GLONASS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DTCs • Retrieve the instrument cluster DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].) • Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	RESET CONFIGURATION DATA FROM INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND PCM TO MAZDA ERA-GLONASS CONTROL MODULE • Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster configuration (using As-Built data). (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA).) • Using the M-MDS, perform the PCM configuration (using As-Built data). (See PCM CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].) • Clear the DTC for the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [MAZDA ERA-GLONASS CONTROL MODULE]) • Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 25 s or more. • Perform the DTC inspection for the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [MAZDA ERA-GLONASS CONTROL MODULE]) • Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster and PCM configuration (using As-Built data) again, then go to the next step. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA).) (See PCM CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].)
3		No	Go to Step 5.
4	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED • Clear the DTC for the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [MAZDA ERA-GLONASS CONTROL MODULE]) • Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 25 s or more. • Perform the DTC inspection for the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [MAZDA ERA-GLONASS CONTROL MODULE]) • Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. • If the malfunction recurs, replace the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module. (See MAZDA ERA-GLONASS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) Go to the next step.
4		No	Go to the next step.
5	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED • Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [MAZDA ERA-GLONASS CONTROL MODULE])
5		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
