Description	Error signal received from instrument cluster
Detection condition	• Rear one-touch walk-in control module receives the error signal from the instrument cluster.
Fail-safe	• Inhibits the rear one-touch walk-in operation function from being driven for the second-row seat (LH). • Inhibits the rear one-touch walk-in operation function from being driven for the second-row seat (RH).
Possible cause	• DTCs are stored in the instrument cluster. • instrument cluster malfunction • Rear one-touch walk-in control module malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY REAR ONE-TOUCH WALK-IN CONTROL MODULE DTCs • Clear the DTC for the rear one-touch walk-in control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [REAR ONE-TOUCH WALK-IN CONTROL MODULE].) • Retrieve the rear one-touch walk-in control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [REAR ONE-TOUCH WALK-IN CONTROL MODULE].) • Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Go to Step 5.
2	VERIFY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DTCs • Retrieve the instrument cluster DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].) • Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	INSPECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER • Inspect the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER INSPECTION.) • Is the instrument cluster normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
3		No	Replace the instrument cluster, then go to the next step. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED • Reconnect all the disconnected connectors with the negative battery terminal disconnected. • Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.) • Clear the DTC for the rear one-touch walk-in control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [REAR ONE-TOUCH WALK-IN CONTROL MODULE].) • Retrieve the rear one-touch walk-in control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [REAR ONE-TOUCH WALK-IN CONTROL MODULE].) • Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. • If the malfunction recurs, replace the rear one-touch walk-in control module. (See REAR ONE-TOUCH WALK-IN CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) Go to the next step.
4		No	Go to the next step.
5	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED • Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [REAR ONE-TOUCH WALK-IN CONTROL MODULE].)
5		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
