FRONT BUMPER DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY

1. Remove the following parts:

(1) Front fog light (With front fog light) (See FRONT FOG LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2) Front ultrasonic sensor (With parking sensor system) (See FRONT ULTRASONIC SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3) Front ultrasonic sensor short-cord (With parking sensor system) (See FRONT ULTRASONIC SENSOR SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.

1	Hole cover
2	Front fog light cover (With front fog light)
3	Hole cover (Without front fog light)
4	Front bumper guard
5	Front bumper guard (RH)
6	Front bumper guard (LH)
7	Radiator grille
8	Front over fender bracket
9	Front fog light bracket
10	Towing hook cover
11	Front bumper face
12	Rivet (See Rivet Removal Note.)
13	License plate holder

3. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

Rivet Removal Note

1. When removing the rivet, perform the following procedure:

(1) Secure the rivet pin from the front bumper side using needle-nose pliers.

Caution

• Always use a drill bit of the specified diameter when removing the rivet. If an inappropriate diameter drill bit is used, the front bumper face may be damaged.

(2) Use the following drill diameter.

Drill diameter:

4.9 mm {0.193 in} or less

(3) Remove the rivet flange using a drill and remove the rivet.

(4) Remove any rivet shavings from the front bumper face.
