FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION

1.  Connect the joint pipe to headlight cleaner motor. (With headlight cleaner system)

2.  Move the front bumper in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and insert the guides to the shroud panel.

3.  Press in the front bumper in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and install the guides to the shroud panel.

4.  Hooks the front bumper to the front bumper sliders in the order show in the figure.

5.  Install the wiring harness clips.

With front fog light

6.  Connect the connectors.

7.  Install the fasteners.

8.  Temporarily tighten the screws.

9.  Adjust the front bumper position so that the clearance between the front bumper and the bonnet is within the specification.

Standard clearance
a: 1.7—5.3 mm {0.07—0.20 in}
b: 1.7—5.3 mm {0.07—0.20 in}
c: 1.7—5.3 mm {0.07—0.20 in}

10.  Completely tighten the screws tightened temporarily in Step 8.

11.  Measure the clearance between the front bumper and the bonnet and verify that it is within the standard clearance.

a: 1.7—5.3 mm {0.07—0.20 in}
b: 1.7—5.3 mm {0.07—0.20 in}
c: 1.7—5.3 mm {0.07—0.20 in}
•  If not within the specification, repeat from Step 8 to Step 11 until the clearance between the front bumper and the bonnet is within the specification.

12.  Install the fasteners.

13.  Move the front under cover No.1 guide in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and insert it into the inner side of the front bumper.

14.  Install the fasteners and screws.

15.  Slightly bend back the front over fender and install the bolts.

16.  Install the fasteners.

17.  Install the fasteners and screws.

18.  Press in the front over fender in the order of the arrows shown in the figure and attach the front over fender clips to the vehicle body.

19.  Install the fasteners.

20.  Install the seal board upper. (See SEAL BOARD UPPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

21.  Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

22.  Perform the 360° view monitor system aiming. (With 360° view monitor system) (See 360°VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING.)
