REAR OVER FENDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Remove the rear deflector. (See REAR DEFLECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Affix the protective tape to the position shown in the figure to prevent scratches and damage.

3.  Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the position shown in the figure.

4.  Move the flathead screwdriver in the order of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure and remove the fastener installed to the rear over fender. (See Rear Over Fender Fastener Installation Note.)

5.  Remove the fastener.

6.  Move the remover tool in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clips of the rear over fender from the rear bumper.

7.  Move the remover tool in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the rear over fender clips from the rear fender panel starting from the vehicle rear.

8.  Remove the rear over fender.

9.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Rear Over Fender Installation Note.)

Warning

•  When installing the rear over fender, verify that clips are not damaged, if they are damaged, replace them with new ones. Otherwise, the rear over fender may fall off while the vehicle is being driven, leading to a serious accident.

Rear Over Fender Installation Note

1.  Press in the rear over fender in the order of the arrows shown in the figure and attach the rear over fender clips to the vehicle body.

2.  While pressing the shaded area shown in the figure, install the rear over fender in the order of the arrows.

3.  Press in the rear over fender in the order of the arrows shown in the figure and attach the rear over fender clips to the vehicle body.

Rear Over Fender Fastener Installation Note

1.  Install the fastener with the arrow mark facing the outside of the vehicle.
