LIFTGATE DOVETAIL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)p

(2)  Rear splash shield (See REAR SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the bolts.

4.  Remove the liftgate dovetail.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
