FOOT-MOTION DETECTION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear splash shield (See REAR SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the screws.

4.  Remove the fasteners.

5.  Remove the cover.

6.  Disconnect the connectors.

7.  Detach the tab shown in the figure.

8.  Remove the foot-motion detection unit.

9.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
