REAR MAP LIGHT INSPECTION [LED TYPE]

LED Illumination Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the rear map light LED. (See REAR MAP LIGHT BULB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Apply battery voltage to the rear map light LED and connect it to the ground.

4.  Verify that the LED turns on.

•  If the LED turns on, replace the rear map light. (See REAR MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

•  If the LED does not turn on, replace the rear map light LED. (See REAR MAP LIGHT BULB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
