Resistance Inspection

Note

•  The low fuel pressure sensor/fuel temperature sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the low fuel pressure sensor/fuel temperature sensor, replace it together with the high pressure fuel pump as a single unit.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].)

3.  Disconnect the low fuel pressure sensor/fuel temperature sensor connector.

4.  Measure the resistance between low fuel pressure sensor/fuel temperature sensor terminals E and C.

•  If not as specified, replace the high pressure fuel pump. (See HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].)
