SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the center speaker grille. (See SPEAKER GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the front center speaker. (See FRONT CENTER SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Shine a fluorescent light or expose the solar radiation sensor to natural sunlight.

6.  Connect the positive (+) lead to terminals A and negative (-) lead to terminal B, C of the solar radiation sensor, and verify that the voltage value is output.

•  If the voltage is 0 V, replace the solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
