FRONT AIR MIX ACTUATOR INSPECTION

Driver-side
1. Set the temperature control to MAX COLD.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
3. Remove the driver-side front air mix actuator. (See FRONT AIR MIX ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4. Apply battery positive voltage and connect the ground to the driver-side front air mix actuator terminals as indicated in the table below and verify the operation condition.

5. Verify that the resistance between terminals A and B, B and C matches the driver-side front air mix actuator operation as shown in the graph.

Passenger-side
1. Set the temperature control to MAX COLD.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
3. Remove the following parts:
4. Remove the passenger-side front air mix actuator. (See FRONT AIR MIX ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
5. Apply battery positive voltage and connect the ground to the passenger-side front air mix actuator terminals as indicated in the table below and verify the operation condition.
