• The connectivity master unit detects an open circuit in DAB antenna feeder with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).

INSPECT TUNER AND AMP UNIT CONNECTOR CONDITION
• Switch the ignition off.
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
• Disconnect the tuner and amp unit connector.
• Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
• Is the connector normal?

Yes

Go to the next step.
|

No
|
Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 8.

INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER No.1 CONNECTOR CONDITION
• Disconnect the antenna feeder No.1 connector.
• Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
• Is the connector normal?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
|
No
|
Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 8.
|

INSPECT DAB ANTENNA FEEDER No.1
• Inspect DAB antenna feeder No.1.
• Is the DAB antenna feeder No.1 normal?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.

No
|
Replace the DAB antenna feeder No.1, then go to Step 8.

INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER No.2 CONNECTOR CONDITION
• Disconnect the antenna feeder No.2 connector.
• Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
• Is the connector normal?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
|
No
|
Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 8.
|

INSPECT DAB ANTENNA FEEDER No.2
• Inspect DAB antenna feeder No.2.
• Is the DAB antenna feeder No.2 normal?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No
|
Replace the DAB antenna feeder No.2, then go to Step 8.

INSPECT DAB ANTENNA AMPLIFIER CONNECTOR CONDITION
• Disconnect the DAB antenna amplifier connector.
• Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
• Is the connector normal?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|

No
|
Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 8.
|

INSPECT DAB ANTENNA AMPLIFIER
• Inspect the DAB antenna amplifier.
• Is the DAB antenna amplifier normal?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
|
No
|
Replace the DAB antenna amplifier, then go to the next step.

|
VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
• Always reconnect all disconnected connectors.
• Connect the negative battery terminal.
• Clear the DTC for the connectivity master unit using the M-MDS.
• Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 7 s or more.
• Perform the DTC inspection for the connectivity master unit using the M-MDS.
• Is the same DTC displayed?

Yes
|
Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
• If the malfunction recurs, replace the tuner and amp unit.
Go to the next step.

No
|
Go to the next step.

VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED
• Are any other DTCs displayed?
|
Yes
|
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

No
|
