FOOT-MOTION DETECTION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear splash shield (See REAR SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Foot-motion detection unit (See FOOT-MOTION DETECTION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Detach the hooks from the foot-motion detection sensors shown in the figure.

4.  Remove the foot-motion detection sensors.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Foot-Motion Detection Sensor Installation Note.)

1.  Verify the colors of the cables and install the foot-motion detection sensors.
