SECOND-ROW SEAT CUSHION TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Caution

•  If a C-ring is damaged while removing or installing the second-row seat cushion trim and second-row seat cushion pad, it may not be possible to install the second-row seat cushion trim and second-row seat cushion pad normally. When removing or installing the second-row seat cushion trim and second-row seat cushion pad, be careful not to damage the C-rings.

•  If a C-ring is damaged, replace it with a new one.

Removal

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal.(See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the second-row seat.(See SECOND-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the second-row seat cushion.(See SECOND-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the C-rings.

5.  Remove the second-row seat cushion trim from the second-row seat cushion pad.

Installation

Note

•  The position and number of C-rings differ depending on the type of seat.

•  Wrinkling can be easily prevented by installing the C-rings with a certain amount of tightening.

1.  Align the second-row seat cushion trim with the installation hole of the second-row seat cushion pad, and install the C-rings.

2.  Press the second-row seat cushion pad inward while pulling the second-row seat cushion trim outward.

3.  Align the second-row seat cushion trim with the shape of the second-row seat cushion pad while pressing the second-row seat cushion pad outward.

4.  Install the second-row seat cushion.(See THIRD-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
