REAR DOOR LOCK-LINK SWITCH INSPECTION

Rear Door Lock-link Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear door trim (See REAR DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear inner handle (See INNER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear door latch and lock actuator (See REAR DOOR LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  If the door lock condition is to be inspected, pull the door lock-link switch cable, or press it in.

4.  Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the rear door latch and lock actuator. (See REAR DOOR LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
