HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the seal board upper. (See SEAL BOARD UPPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL.) (See FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the connector. (See HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

Warning
•  Water sprayed on the battery and ground could cause electrocution. When performing the headlight cleaner motor inspection, prepare a container to collect washer fluid and be careful not to spray washer fluid.

5.  Apply battery positive voltage to headlight cleaner motor terminal B, and connect terminal A to ground.

6.  Verify that washer fluid sprays from the headlight cleaner motor.

•  If washer fluid does not spray from the headlight cleaner motor, replace the headlight cleaner motor. (See HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
