Note
-
• The connectivity master unit (CMU) prior to replacement stores the vehicle specification information.
• A new connectivity master unit (CMU) does not store any vehicle specification information.
• When the ignition is switched ON after the connectivity master unit (CMU) is replaced, the connectivity master unit (CMU) reads the vehicle specification information sent via CAN transmission from the instrument cluster using the automatic configuration function, and stores it.
• The Bluetooth® pairing information recorded in the connectivity master unit (CMU) cannot be written to a new connectivity master unit (CMU). Therefore, the Bluetooth® pairing information will be eliminated if the connectivity master unit (CMU) is replaced. Before replacing the connectivity master unit (CMU), explain to the customer that the Bluetooth® pairing resetting is required.
