Description

•  The excessive speed warning sound is not activated even if the vehicle speed exceeds the displayed traffic sign speed.

Note
•  The detection performance of the forward sensing camera (FSC) has limitations and the traffic sign recognition system (TSR) may not operate normally. For the detection performance limitations, refer to the [FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC)] in the technical guide.
•  The forward sensing camera (FSC) operation record can be verified using the M-MDS.
•  Warning display is off using personalization feature
•  Excessive speed setting is performed using personalization feature
•  Active driving display malfunction
•  Instrument cluster malfunction

•  Verify that the personalization feature setting matches any of the following.
?  Warning display is off
?  Excessive speed setting is other than +0 km/h
•  Is any of the above conditions met?
Yes
Perform the personalization feature setting in consultation with the customer.

No
Go to the next step.

INSPECT PHENOMENON DUE TO DETECTION PERFORMANCE LIMITATIONS
•  Refer to the new vehicle instruction and inspect the detection performance of the forward sensing camera (FSC).
•  Inspect the forward sensing camera (FSC) operation record using the M-MDS.
•  Are the applicable items for the detection performance displayed?
Yes
The vehicle is normal. (Explain to the customer that the lane-keep assist system may not operate due to the detection performance limitations of the forward sensing camera (FSC).)
Complete the symptom troubleshooting.
No
Go to the next step.

INSPECT ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY
•  Inspect the active driving display.
•  Is the active driving display normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the active driving display, then go to the next step.

INSPECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
•  Inspect the alarm sound for the instrument cluster.
•  Is the instrument cluster normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the instrument cluster, then go to the next step.

VERIFY MALFUNCTION SYMPTOM
•  Has the malfunction symptom been eliminated?
Yes
Complete the symptom troubleshooting. (Explain repair contents to customer).
No
Repeat the diagnosis from Step 1.
If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the forward sensing camera (FSC).
