DTC U053B:61	Forward sensing camera (FSC)
DETECTION CONDITION	• Malfunction detected in forward sensing camera (FSC)
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION	• Refer to “Fail-safe Function Table”. (See DTC TABLE [ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS)].)
POSSIBLE CAUSE	• Forward sensing camera (FSC) malfunction
SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM	Not applicable

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC) DTC • Using the M-MDS, perform the forward sensing camera (FSC) DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION [FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC)].) • Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC)].) DTC troubleshooting completed, then go to the next step.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED • Using the M-MDS, clear the DTC from the EPS control module. (See CLEARING DTC [ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS)].) • Using the M-MDS, perform the EPS control module DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION [ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS)].) • Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Replace the forward sensing camera (FSC). (See FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
2		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
