Without Rear Seat Belt Reminder System

Center

Note

•  The following procedures refer to the removal/installation for L.H.D. vehicles. Removal/installation for R.H.D. vehicles is symmetrical in relation to the removal/installation for L.H.D. vehicles.

1.  Switch the ignition to off.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Second-row seat (driver’s side) (See SECOND-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Second-row seat cushion (driver’s side) (See SECOND-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear console-side second-row seat side cover (driver’s side) (See SECOND-ROW SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the bolt.

5.  Remove the second-row center buckle.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Driver's side

Note

•  The following procedures refer to the removal/installation for L.H.D. vehicles. Removal/installation for R.H.D. vehicles is symmetrical in relation to the removal/installation for L.H.D. vehicles.

1.  Switch the ignition to off.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Second-row seat (driver’s side) (See SECOND-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Second-row seat cushion (driver’s side) (See SECOND-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the bolt.

5.  Remove the second-row buckle (driver’s side).

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Passenger's side

Note

•  The following procedures refer to the removal/installation for L.H.D. vehicles. Removal/installation for R.H.D. vehicles is symmetrical in relation to the removal/installation for L.H.D. vehicles.

1.  Switch the ignition to off.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Second-row seat (passenger’s side) (See SECOND-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Second-row seat side cover (passenger’s side) (See SECOND-ROW SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Second-row seat slide adjuster (passenger’s side) (See SECOND-ROW SEAT SLIDE ADJUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the bolt.

5.  Remove the second-row buckle (passenger’s side).

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

With Rear Seat Belt Reminder System

Center

1.  Switch the ignition to off.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the second-row seat (driver’s side). (See SECOND-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the connector.

5.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Second-row seat cushion (driver’s side) (See SECOND-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear console-side second-row seat side cover (driver’s side) (See SECOND-ROW SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.  Remove the bolt.

7.  Remove the second-row center buckle.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Driver's side

1.  Switch the ignition to off.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the second-row seat (driver’s side). (See SECOND-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the connector.

5.  Remove the second-row seat cushion (driver’s side). (See SECOND-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.  Remove the bolt.

7.  Remove the second-row buckle (driver’s side).

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Passenger's side

1.  Switch the ignition to off.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the second-row seat (passenger's side). (See SECOND-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the clip.

5.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Second-row seat side cover (passenger’s side) (See SECOND-ROW SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Second-row seat slide adjuster (passenger’s side) (See SECOND-ROW SEAT SLIDE ADJUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.  Remove the bolt.

7.  Remove the second-row buckle (passenger’s side).

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
