•  Is there a remaining call record indicating an attempted call?
Yes
Refer to the reason why the call was not made and explain it to the customer.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY CALL METHOD
•  Verify the operation record of the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module using the M-MDS.
•  Verify if a call is made manually or automatically.
•  Is a call made manually?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Verify with the customer again whether or not there were conditions in which an automatic call should have been made.

INSPECT MAZDA ERA-GLONASS SWITCH
•  Inspect the Mazda ERA-GLONASS switch.
•  Is the Mazda ERA-GLONASS switch normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the Mazda ERA-GLONASS switch, then go to Step 6.

START FINALIZATION
•  Start the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module finalization.
•  Is the Mazda ERA-GLONASS switch normal?
?  The switch is securely turned on for 1 s.
?  There is no chatter for 1 s.
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Refer to “FINALIZATION NOT STARTED OR COMPLETED” malfunction diagnosis and perform the inspection.

VERIFY IF MALFUNCTION IS RESOLVED
•  Has the malfunction symptom been eliminated?
Yes
Troubleshooting completed. (Explain the contents of the servicing to the customer.)
No
Repeat the diagnosis from Step 1.
If the malfunction has not been resolved, replace the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module.
