SECOND-ROW SEAT BACK COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Driver-side second-row seat

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal.(See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Second-row seat(driver’s side)(See SECOND-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Second-row seat cushion(See SECOND-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Second-row seat side cover(See SECOND-ROW SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Lower anchor installation bolt on the second-row center seat belt (See SECOND-ROW CENTER SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Second-row center buckle (See SECOND-ROW BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the second-row seat center cover.

4.  While pressing the top tether anchor cover tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the top tether anchor cover in the direction of arrow (2) and detach the top tether anchor cover from the second-row seat back frame.

5.  Move hooks A in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach them from hooks B.

6.  Unzip the zippers.

7.  Peel off the surface fastener shown in the figure.

8.  Remove the clips.

9.  Remove the second-row seat back board.

10.  Disconnect and unhook the cables.

11.  Remove the bolts.

12.  Remove the second-row seat back component.

13.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
