MRCC CANNOT BE SET [RADAR UNIT]
Description
•  The vehicle speed and the distance between the vehicles cannot be set using the cruise control switch.
Possible Causes
•  DSC or TCS is turned off
•  Vehicle speed is outside of operation condition range
•  Driver's seat belt is not fastened
•  Buckle switch malfunction
•  Door latch switch malfunction
•  Cruise control switch malfunction
•  Selector lever position malfunction
•  Radar unit malfunction

VERIFY DTCs
•  Display the radar unit DTC using the M-MDS.
•  Is a DTC displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY DRIVING CONDITION
•  Ask the customer if the condition was any of the following conditions when the malfunction occurred.
?  DSC or TCS is turned off
?  Vehicle speed is outside of operation conditions described in technical guide
?  Driver's seat belt is not fastened
•  Is any of the above driving conditions met?
Yes
The vehicle is normal.
Complete the symptom troubleshooting.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY WARNING/INDICATOR LIGHT ON CONDITION
•  Verify whether the following instrument cluster warning/indicator lights are turned on or flashing.
?  Seat belt warning indication
?  Door-ajar warning indication
•  Are any of the above indications displayed?
Yes
Verify the type of warning/indicator light displayed.
If the seat belt warning indication is turned on or flashing:
•  Go to the next step.
If the door-ajar warning indication is turned on or flashing:
•  Go to Step 5.
No
Go to Step 6.

INSPECT BUCKLE SWITCH (DRIVER)
•  Inspect the buckle switch (driver).
•  Is the buckle switch (driver) normal?
Yes
Go to Step 6.
No
Replace the driver's front buckle, then go to Step 6.

INSPECT FRONT AND REAR DOOR LATCH SWITCHES (RH/LH)
•  Inspect the front and rear door latch switches (RH/LH).
•  Are the front and rear door latch switches (RH/LH) normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the malfunctioning door latch and lock actuator, then go to the next step.

INSPECT CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH
•  Is the cruise control switch normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the cruise control switch, then go to the next step.
7
VERIFY SELECTOR LEVER POSITION RECOGNITION CONDITION
•  Operate the selector lever and verify whether the selector lever position is correctly indicated in the instrument cluster.
•  Is the selector lever position correctly indicated in the instrument cluster?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the selector cable, then go to the next step.

INSPECT RADAR UNIT
•  Inspect the radar unit.
•  Is the radar unit normal?
Yes
Complete the symptom troubleshooting.
No
Replace the radar unit.
