CABIN TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Passenger-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Driver-side front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Driver-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Bonnet release lever (See BONNET RELEASE LEVER AND RELEASE CABLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Fuel-filler lid opener lever (See FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER AND LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Driver-side lower panel (See DRIVER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the screw.

4.  Disconnect the aspirator from the cabin temperature sensor.

5.  Remove the cabin temperature sensor.

6.  Disconnect the connector.

7.  Remove the aspirator.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

2.  Remove the following parts:

(2)  Passenger-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Driver-side front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Driver-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Bonnet release lever (See BONNET RELEASE LEVER AND RELEASE CABLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Fuel-filler lid opener lever (See FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER AND LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Driver-side lower panel (See DRIVER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the connector.

4.  Disconnect the aspirator from the duct.

5.  Remove the hose.

6.  Remove the duct.

7.  While lifting hook A of the sensor grille using a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver, pull the cabin temperature sensor in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure and detach hook A of the sensor grille from tab A of the cabin temperature sensor.

8.  While lifting hook B of the sensor grille using a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver, pull the cabin temperature sensor in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure and detach hook B of the sensor grille from tab B of the cabin temperature sensor.

9.  Remove the cabin temperature sensor.

10.  Remove the aspirator.

11.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
