REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SHORT-CORD INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

1.  Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Trunk side pocket (See TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.  Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Detach the entire trunk side trim from the body. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the rear combination light short-cord. (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Verify that the continuity between the rear combination light short-cord terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the rear turn light bulb or the rear combination light short-cord. (See REAR TURN LIGHT BULB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
