REAR BUMPER SLIDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear splash shield (See REAR SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Trunk side pocket (See TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(8)  Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(9)  Third-row seat cushion (See THIRD-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(10)  Third-row seat back component (See THIRD-ROW SEAT BACK COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(11)  Trunk side trim (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the screws and nut.

4.  While pressing the tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the rear bumper slider in the direction of arrow (2) and pull the hook and pin out of the rear fender panel.

5.  Remove the rear bumper slider.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
