Rear Washer Hose A

Note

•  If the procedure is performed with washer fluid in the washer tank, the washer fluid may leak out. When performing the procedure, place a container under the washer tank to collect washer fluid, and perform the procedure.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

1.  Seal board upper (See SEAL BOARD UPPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Front bumper (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL.) (See FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION.)

3.  Front deflector (RH) (See FRONT DEFLECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Front over fender (RH) (See FRONT OVER FENDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Front mudguard (RH) (See FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect rear washer hose A from the washer motor.

4.  Pull out rear washer hose A from hook A.

5.  Pull out rear washer hose A from hook B.

6.  Pull out rear washer hose A from the clips.

7.  Disconnect rear washer hose B from the joint pipe.

8.  Remove rear washer hose A.

9.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Washer Hose B

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

1.  Front deflector (RH) (See FRONT DEFLECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Front over fender (RH) (See FRONT OVER FENDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Front mudguard (RH) (See FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect rear washer hose B from the joint pipe.

4.  Pull out rear washer hose B from the clip A.

5.  Pull out rear washer hose B from the clip B.

6.  Remove the following parts:

2.  Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

7.  Pull out the grommet from the body.

8.  Pull out rear washer hose B from clips A and B.

9.  Disconnect rear washer hose C from the joint pipe.

10.  Remove rear washer hose B.

11.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Washer Hose C

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

1.  When installing rear washer hose C to the headliner, install it aligning to the position shown in the figure.

3.  While pressing the clip tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, pull the clip in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the clip tabs from the body panel.

4.  Remove the tape.

5.  Partially peel the liftgate grommet in the direction of arrows shown in the figure, and remove the liftgate grommet from the inner liftgate grommet.

6.  While pressing the tab of the inner liftgate grommet in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, pull the inner liftgate grommet in the direction of arrow (2) and detach the tab of the inner liftgate grommet from the liftgate or body.

7.  Detach all the tabs of the inner liftgate grommet from the liftgate or body and remove the inner liftgate grommet.

8.  Remove the tape. (See Rear washer hose D installation note.)

9.  Disconnect rear washer hose D from the joint pipe.

10.  Remove rear washer hose D.

11.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Rear washer hose D installation note

1.  When installing rear washer hose D to the liftgate grommet, install it aligning to the position shown in the figure.
